Job description |
Providence College: The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (tenure-track), commencing September 2023. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will be considered if appropriate. Ideal candidates will offer evidence of ability and willingness to teach Catholic seminarians according to the USCCB’s guidelines for the philosophical formation of Catholic seminarians as set forth in the Program of Priestly Formation. Prospective candidates should be supportive of the Department’s commitment to the history of philosophy, willing to conduct interdisciplinary teaching in the College’s Development of Western Civilization Program, and willing to teach service courses.
