Job description

The NC State Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies welcomes applications for an appointment as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy with expertise in the philosophy of law. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field by May 2023. The responsibilities of the appointee will include teaching undergraduate courses on philosophy of law and ethical problems in the law, and contributing to the Department’s teaching needs in other core areas of Philosophy. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Other responsibilities include research, publication and service.
