Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Texas A&M University, College Station (http://philosophy.tamu.edu) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor for a three-semester position for Spring 2023 and the 2023-34 academic year. This position is a 9 month, full-time, non-tenure track position to teach a 3:3 load (3 undergraduate courses each of the three semester). The salary for this position will be $50,000/year (9 month appointment). The successful candidate must be able to teach the lower-division undergraduate course PHIL 240 Introduction to Logic (introduction to formal methods of deductive and inductive logic including, but not limited to, truth-tables, formal deduction and probability theory), as well as upper division undergraduate courses in philosophy of mind and/or metaphysics.
