The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Information School seeks highly qualified candidates for a tenure track position with research and teaching emphasis in the area of ethics of computing, data, and information. This position will be an academic nine-month, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level, to start in August 2023. RESPONSIBILITIES Faculty responsibilities include research and publication, teaching courses, student advising (both master's and PhD), and service. The teaching load is two courses per semester. The selected candidate will conduct scholarly research resulting in publications in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly venues, acquire external funding to support research and graduate students, and design and teach bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level courses (both online and in person). The candidate will be an affiliate of and contributor to the Holtz Center for Science for Science & Technology Studies. The candidate will be committed to service within the department, university, and profession appropriate to faculty rank.
