The Department of Philosophy and Religion at Western Carolina University invites applications for a full-time 9 month instructor specializing in bioethics to start August 2023. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load and typical service duties, including student advising. The successful applicant will teach multiple sections per year of Biomedical Ethics and Social Justice, a required course in the University’s Integrated Health Sciences Program (ihs.wcu.edu). Ability to teach feminist thought or other areas that complement our current strengths will be also considered. This is a fixed term position with benefits.
