Job description |
The department seeks a scholar with expertise in classical philosophy, taking that field to include multiple intellectual lineages, including, but not limited to classical Mediterranean and Asian cultures. The successful candidate must be able to teach classical Greek thought at the graduate level. However, the appointment is for one year. The teaching load is 2:2, with includes two survey courses per year, an advanced undergraduate course, and one course at the graduate level. Salary will be 50K/year with benefits. PhD with expertise in classical philosophy, taking that field to include multiple intellectual lineages, including, but not limited to classical Mediterranean and Asian cultures.
