Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY, CLEMSON, SC. Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, one year position renewable for up to 3 years. Employment to begin August 15, 2023. Ph.D. in Philosophy required at that time. AOS and AOC open, but the Department of Philosophy and Religion has needs and interest in the history of philosophy (including 19th and 20th century as well as ancient and modern), aesthetics, and epistemology. Teaching load is 3/3 and includes introductory courses in the general education curriculum (logic, intro to philosophical problems, ethics) as well as upper-level courses.  The successful candidate must provide evidence of excellent research and teaching.  Applicants should submit a letter of application, CV, evidence of teaching effectiveness, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation to Interfolio by March 21st, 2023.
