Job description |
The Executive Committee of the APA Central Division solicits applications for the position of divisional secretary-treasurer. The committee hopes to make an appointment by late spring 2023, and it is expected that there will be a transition period of approximately one year during which the appointee will work with the present secretary-treasurer, Elyse Purcell. The successful candidate would assume the role in full on July 1, 2024. This is a part-time role that comes with an annual stipend of $20,000. The secretary-treasurer's responsibilities include the following: Oversight of the Division's Annual Meeting
Support of Divisional Committees and Elections
Oversight of Division's Finances
Representation on Board of Officers
Qualifications The Executive Committee seeks these qualifications in a secretary-treasurer:
A candidate for the position must be a regular or emeritus member of the APA and must be an affiliate of the Central Division in order to take up the position. (Members affiliated with other divisions may change their division if selected for the position.)
