Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professorship in Philosophy. The position will begin on July 1, 2023. The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. by the time of the appointment. 

The successful applicant will teach introductory courses in philosophy, with the possibility of teaching one or two upper-level classes in their area of specialization. The teaching load is five courses per year. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to maintain the highest standards of excellence in teaching.
