Postdoctoral Scholar (Philosophy)

The Department of Philosophy at Florida State University (FSU) invites applications for a position as a Dean’s Postdoctoral Scholar. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track position with an anticipated start date in August 2023. Initial appointment is for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal (for up to 3 years total in the position). Salary competitive. The teaching load is four courses per year (Fall and Spring semesters).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. (or highest degree appropriate) in Philosophy (or closely related field) from an accredited institution, with demonstrated ability to teach and participate in our strong philosophy undergraduate, M.A., and Ph.D. programs. Applicants must have received the PhD no earlier than August 2020, and it must be conferred before August 2023.
