Lecturer (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy is accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term lecturer on the teaching track for the (9 month) 2023-2024 academic year to teach courses in the Philosophy Department and the program in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (PNP).  

This role requires duties equivalent to a full-time teaching load, which the university defines as at least 12 credit-hours of classroom teaching in each semester, and which may include a combination of teaching and other departmental service and advising as appropriate.  Lecturers in Philosophy/PNP regularly have an assignment of three courses per semester in addition to a service component. With successful performance, the lectureship may be renewed for a second year, 2024-2025. 

Each year Washington University publishes a Safety and Security brochure that details what to do and whom to contact in an emergency. This report also publishes the federally required annual security and fire safety reports, containing campus crime and fire statistics as well as key university policies and procedures.
