Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 16, 2024. We are looking for applicants whose work focuses on normative issues raised by AI or related technologies. The teaching load is two courses per semester and faculty are expected to be research active and to provide service to the department and university. Final authorization of the position is subject to availability of funding Minimum qualifications: PhD expected prior to start date, evidence of teaching effectiveness and research accomplishment in the area of focus.
