Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at Stanford University seeks applicants for an appointment in “core” areas, including Language, Mind, Metaphysics, and Epistemology (we draw your attention also to parallel searches in Ethics and in Logic). This is an entry-level, tenure-line search; the position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related field by the time of employment and will be expected to teach and advise students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and to lead a robust research program. The term of appointment is expected to begin on September 1, 2024. The salary range for this position is $105,000 – $116,041, for academic year 2024–25.
