Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Misericordia University invites qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in Philosophy to begin August 2024.  The Philosophy department seeks someone with areas of specialization (AOS) in continental philosophy and philosophy of medicine and an area of competence (AOC) in environmental philosophy. Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with medical professions and/or environmental sciences is preferred. Candidates will also teach introductory philosophy courses to non-philosophy majors.  Teaching load is 4/4. A doctorate in Philosophy is required.  Candidates at ABD status with evidence of expected completion by August 15, 2024, will be considered.
