Job description |
The Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Brown University (PPE Center) will be appointing up to two Postdoctoral Fellows. Post-doctorates must have received their PhD within the past three years. Postdoctoral fellows will pursue their own research, participate in PPE Center workshops, and teach one seminar course per year. In addition to a CV, three confidential letters of reference, a writing sample, and teaching statement, applications should include a cover letter describing how their research fits within the mission of the PPE Center. We seek candidates who will contribute to diversity and/or have demonstrated support for diversity and inclusion through their teaching and research. The successful candidate must have a promising interdisciplinary research agenda demonstrated through dissertation work, publications, and/or works in progress. By interdisciplinary research, we mean the candidates’ research should cross at least two of the three constituent fields of philosophy, politics, and economics.
