Do you have a Ph.D. in humanities, philosophy, religious studies or related area that has already been awarded or will be awarded by June 3, 2024, from a regionally accredited institution? Please be aware that the degree must be awarded no later than the date indicated. It is not sufficient to have completed all the requirements for the degree by this date.
In addition, for those who do not have a degree in humanities, philosophy, or religious studies, explain briefly the manner in which your degree is relevant to this position.
Do you have at least 1 year (or its equivalent) of full-time university-level teaching experience? (“Equivalent” means teaching at one or more colleges or universities constituting a teaching load of at least 4 classes taught in one academic year. For example, an adjunct working at two different institutions teaching 2 classes in a spring term and 2 in the following summer term will have satisfied the full-time equivalency with a 2/2 load.)
Specify here the courses and classes taught in two contiguous semesters, at which institution(s), and at what level.
NOTE: Please have all documents ready when applying so that they can be simultaneously uploaded. Once the online submission process is finalized, the system does not allow applicants to submit additional documents later. Only complete applications will be considered.
The selected candidate will be required to submit official transcripts (and, as applicable, U.S. degree equivalency evaluations) documenting the conferral of their qualifying academic credentials.
