The position is based at the University of East Anglia (top 20 for research in the UK, as per REF 2021; top 100 worldwide for research citations, as per THE World rankings 2023), in Norwich (UK). Hybrid working is possible. The position is fixed-term for 12 months and available from April 1st, 2024, but there is some flexibility about the starting date. Experience with the development and validation of psychometric measures, psychological topic knowledge in the psychologies of wisdom, intellectual humility, or curiosity as well as knowledge of Buddhist, Confucian, or Thomist philosophies would be advantageous but are not essential.
