| Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at UNCG is hopeful that we may be able to hire for one, and possibly two, full-time lecturer positions for the 24-25 academic year. UNCG was originally a Woman's College, and currently serves the most diverse student body in the University of North Carolina System. Our student body includes a high percentage of first generation college students. Our department offers a BA degree both in-person and online. The department is looking for applicants who can teach both in person and online. We have needs in a variety of applied ethics courses, especially business ethics. While all areas of specialization will be considered, we would be especially interested in being able to add a course in African Philosophy or in Eastern Philosophy to our offerings for the Spring. Should the position be approved, it would be a 4:4 load. |
