Job Summary This tenure-track position has a 3/3 teaching load on a semester calendar, including lower-division courses (e.g., Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Ethics, and/or a new, technology-related GenEd course that the candidate will develop) and upper-division courses related to the candidate's AOS/AOC. There are service and research expectations in addition to teaching. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in philosophy at time of appointment. Preferred Qualifications AOS: Philosophy and Ethics of Technology (including but not limited to AI and Computing); AOC: Open, but we have a strong preference for someone who can teach Professional Ethics. Special Notes Submit (1) cover letter, (2) curriculum vitae, (3) sample syllabi, (4) recent student evaluations, (5) writing sample, and (6) three letters of recommendation.
