Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy Fall 2024 Dominican University invites applications for the position of a non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy for the 2024-25 academic year, with the possibility of renewal. This role requires teaching a total of eight undergraduate courses (four in the fall semester and four in the spring semester). Areas of Specialization and Competence are open, and a Ph.D. by the time of employment is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a generalist able to teach a variety of courses, including introduction to philosophy and critical thinking. Experience in teaching introductory courses and evidence of teaching excellence are required, and familiarity with alternative epistemology is preferred.
