Postdoctoral Fellow

This is a post-doctoral fellowship housed in the Department of Philosophy and affiliated with the Hong Kong Ethics Lab (https://www.hkethicslab.com). The initial appointment will be for two years, with the potential for extension for an additional year.

The post-doctoral fellow is expected to participate actively in the work of the Hong Kong Ethics Lab. Applicants will be asked to submit project proposals (max 5 pages) that fall within the research centre’s broad remit to drive academic research and public engagement on pressing issues of ethical concern.

NOTE: The University's application page incorrectly states that project proposals must be related to AI. This is a clerical error. Project proposals can be related to any area of value theory, broadly construed (inclusive of but not exclusive to evaluative issues in AI).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
