The Vanderbilt Philosophy Department seeks to hire a senior lecturer in Continental Philosophy. This position will start in the fall semester of 2025. Six courses/year (3/3), with options for additional summer teaching. The non-tenure-track senior lecturer position at Vanderbilt University is a 3-year appointment, with possibility of renewal based on teaching performance and institutional need. Qualifications : Applicants must have successfully defended a PhD dissertation in Philosophy by August 1, 2025, must show the promise of strong scholarship, and must have a strong record of teaching effectiveness.
