Job description |
The department of Philosophy & Religion at North Central College invites applications for a 1-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Philosophy. The contract start date is August 1, 2025. Classes begin on August 20. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and review will begin immediately. Teaching load is 3/3, consisting of lower-level courses: Intro to Philosophy (PHIL 100), Ethics (PHIL 110), and Health Care Ethics (PHIL 213). One section may be taught on-line, but the majority of the classes will be offered in person at our Naperville, IL campus. Naperville is approximately 30 miles west of downtown Chicago and the campus is easily accessible by train. Salary range is $50,000 to $54,000, plus benefits.
