Faculty-Department of Philosophy The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time position in the Department of Philosophy, to begin fall 2014. Rank is open; Ph.D. is required by time of employment. The department seeks a philosopher working within the Thomist tradition in the area of political philosophy. The successful applicant will show an aptitude for bringing Thomist philosophy into fruitful dialogue with other philosophical traditions. Applicants should also excel in teaching at the undergraduate level and possess the ability to teach broadly among the various areas of philosophy while having an active research agenda. All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary (see www.umary.edu/about/mission/missionidentity.php).
