| Job description |
We are looking for excellent philosophers to nominate for the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) Junior Research Fellow Scheme. The fellowship supports each awardee with a full-time appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow for a period of 24 months, with an optional extension to 36 months. The basic salary amounts to HK$34,292 per month. Standard (for example, medical and dental) benefits are included, as well as a HK$13,500 per year allowance for conference and research-related travel. Candidates must have obtained / been conferred a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification on or after 1 January 2022 (i.e. not more than three years before 2025), or will complete the requirement of a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification by 31 August 2026. Nominations are expected to be finalized in the beginning of October 2025 and final fellowship results announced in April 2026.
