TT Professor - Open Rank

The Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University invites applications for one tenure-track position at open rank, to begin July 1, 2026. AOS: Metaphysics. AOC: open. Additional research interest in philosophy of science or logic may be an asset. The teaching load is two courses per semester, with advising and service work. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in philosophy by the date of appointment. Applications received by Oct 1, 2025 are assured fullest consideration. Applicants must submit a cover letter, cv, writing sample, dissertation summary or research statement, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and at least three letters of recommendation. Founded in 1865, Cornell University now has 14 colleges and schools and is the land-grant university for the state of New York.
