Job description

The Department of Linguistics and Philosophy invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship, effective July 2026. AOS: Ethics or Social/Political, focused on the ethics of computing and technology. AOC: Open. Teaching: 2 courses/year or equivalent, graduate and undergraduate, semester system. The position involves shared responsibilities with the Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing (SERC) in the Schwarzman College of Computing, including teaching within the College. Appointment is initially for one year, with opportunity to renew for a second year.

Pay Range Minimum: $71,000; Pay Range Maximum: $90,000

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.
