Lecturer Department of Philosophy University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign The Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a Lecturer for the Spring 2026 semester, with a target start date of January 1, 2026. The successful candidate can expect to teach 3 courses in lower- and/or upper-division Philosophy courses. We seek candidates with a background in the following: Philosophy of Mind, Epistemology/Theory of Knowledge, Advanced Logic. Qualifications A PhD in Philosophy or related areas in hand and evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate level. Salary & Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time non-tenure track position, appointed for the Spring 2026 semester with appointment dates of January 1, 2026 to May 15, 2026. The budgeted salary range for the position is $29,000 - $31,000. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
