Job description

The Departments of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Brandeis University invite applications for a cross-disciplinary Florence Levy Kay Fellow beginning in the fall of 2026. This two-year fellowship is part of the university’s new major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). 

We welcome candidates from any of the associated fields (philosophy, politics, and economics) whose research and teaching are suited to this interdisciplinary major.

The Kay Fellow in PPE will teach one course per semester, including the possibility of a capstone seminar in the fall of 2027 and assist in building the PPE program and community.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in one of the associated fields by the date of appointment and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching.
