Job description

The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral position starting in August 2026.

Responsibilities

The research focus of the position is on fertility policy, particularly from a normative perspective. The position is funded by Maya Eden's European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant on “Non-Utilitarian Perspectives on Population Policy.” The researcher is expected to contribute to this research agenda.

Your Profile

Knowledge of German is not a requirement. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics, Philosophy or related field before taking up the position. The appointment is initially for a one-year contract, which can be renewed.
