| Job description |
The Clemson University Department of Philosophy and Religion seeks to hire a Lecturer in Philosophy with employment to begin on August 15, 2026. Ph.D. in Philosophy is required at that time. AOS and AOC open. Teaching will include introductory logic, science & values, and upper-level courses in the successful applicant’s AOS and AOC. Normal teaching load is 4/4. This is a full-time position with health and retirement benefits. Lecturer positions are annual contracts and are renewable, subject to review and funding. After the fourth year, Lecturers are eligible to apply for promotion to Senior Lecturer.
