PHILOSOPHY: Part-time Lecturer (non-tenure-track)

The Department of Philosophy at Tufts University seeks a part-time lecturer to teach two sections of Philosophy 002: Introduction to Philosophy in Fall 2026. The successful candidate may be offered a third section in Spring 2027.

A PhD in Philosophy is required.

Applicants should submit a cover letter that briefly describes their research interests and teaching experience, a CV, and a writing sample. Applicants should arrange to have two letters of recommendation uploaded directly to Interfolio by the letter writers (or appropriate third party). Applicants who have course evaluations or other evidence of teaching skills are invited to submit that material as well.
