Job description

We are looking for someone to teach the following two logic courses in Fall 2026:

LOG 201: Logic
Introduction to methods of deductive inference. Concepts of inconsistency and entailment. Truth Functional Statement Logic and Quantifier and Predicate Logic. Representation of logically significant forms of statements and arguments. Construction of proofs using methods of natural deduction.

LOG 335: Symbolic Logic
Intermediate level introduction to modern symbolic logic focusing on standard first-order logic; topics include proofs, interpretations, applications and basic metalogical results. Prerequisite: LOG 201 or MA 225 or CSC 226
