| Job description |
The Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University invites applications for one tenure-track position at open rank, to begin July 1, 2027. AOS: Metaphysics or Philosophy of Science, broadly construed. AOC: open. The teaching load is two courses per semester, with advising and service work. The position comes with research funds and full benefits. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in philosophy by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter, and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching. Pay Range: $83,200 - $280,000 Actual salary offers in the College of Arts and Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
