The Chair of Metaphysics in the Faculty of Philosophy at LMU Munich invites applications for one postdoc position in a multi-university John Templeton Foundation supported project on the physics and philosophy of open quantum systems. This is a fixed term (non-tenure track) postdoctoral position that runs for two years. The starting date is January 15, 2027. The candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program in metaphysics and philosophy of physics, including issues related to the metaphysics of quantum open systems. They will also be expected to participate in the weekly group activities of the Chair of Metaphysics. The position will include some administrative tasks, such as the organization of workshops. |
