The Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to make one appointment, at the level of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor or Tenured Associate Professor to begin July 1, 2027 (negotiable) in the philosophy of emerging technologies, broadly construed, including, but not limited to, the ethical, societal, legal, and policy implications of innovations in biotechnology, AI, diagnostics, therapeutics, and other emerging technologies.
