The Philosophy Department at Georgetown University is searching for an Assistant Teaching Professor, a continuing non tenure-line position. A PhD in philosophy is required prior to the start date of August 2027. The teaching load for the position is 3/3. Teaching will be split between Georgetown’s Hilltop campus and the new Capitol campus. The position is 90% teaching and 10% service, with no research requirements for contract renewal. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
