Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Pacific University (Oregon) invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor beginning August 2016. AOS: Philosophy of Science, AOC: Philosophy of Mind. Special consideration will be given to candidates who do Philosophy of Race. Teaching load: five courses annually including philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, first-year seminar, and capstone supervision. Required: Demonstrated excellence in teaching, and indication of scholarly promise. PhD expected by January 2016. U.S. work permit also required. Salary and benefits competitive.
