Full-time, Tenure-track Position in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Bard College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Philosophy, open rank, to begin in the fall of 2017. The area of specialization is open, but we are particularly interested in the areas of philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, philosophy of language, non-western philosophy, and feminism.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to quality, innovative undergraduate teaching at a liberal arts college; maintaining an active research program; contributing to the general education curriculum; and engaging with the life of the college. Candidates must hold a Ph.D or be nearing its completion.
