Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor of Philosophy: The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The person appointed to this position will teach in the areas of: History of Philosophy and Continental Philosophy. Additional courses supporting the General Education curriculum will be assigned on the basis of the candidate's areas of competence. Evidence of effective teaching, scholarly productivity, and service to the University are required for retention, promotion, and tenure. This position is contingent on the availability of authorized funding. Additional interdisciplinary teaching opportunities may be available within the Honors, Gender Studies, and Latin American Studies programs.
