Job description

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Calgary invites applications for a two-year limited term position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting on September 1, 2012. The area of specialization for this position is ethical theory. The area of competence is ancient philosophy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both areas. A PhD in philosophy and evidence of research and scholarship in the area of specialization are required.
