To make the public and other senior academics in all faculties more aware of the importance of philosophy. Specifically, to promote readership (and secondarily) academic sales of the works of I.F.S. Foundation publications. I.F.S. Foundation is a small not for profit publisher, dedicated to producing philosophy publications which have the intent to affect the progress of the world in a favorable way. Our first publication, "Time Travel in Theory and Practice" (hard and soft back versions, 364 pages) has just reached proof copy level and is scheduled for a UK bibliographic record for the title and we anticipate that this will be sent to the British Library. It is expected that usual methods of promotion like Twitter, Facebook and now Google Plus will be understood by any applicant. Several appropriate fields of specialisation are referred to above but basically the field is open, ability or possible ability to promote work being perhaps more important. The work can be carried out from anywhere in the world. |
