Job description	The Department of Philosophy of Bielefeld University seeks to fill a replacement professorship (W 3) for philosophy of science. The period of employment is October 1, 2012 until February 28, 2015. The successful candidate should have an international research profile in the philosophy of science and should have demonstrated the ability of high-quality teaching. Proficiency in German is required. According to German law, severely disabled persons with equal occupational aptitude will be given preferential consideration. We particularly welcome applications from women. Given equal suitability, qualification and professional achievement, women will be given preference, unless particular circumstances pertaining to a male applicant predominate.
