Tenure-track professorship “Theoretical Philosophy” (EXPIRED)

This tenure-track position is intended to strengthen, with respect to research and teaching, the broad area of Theoretical Philosophy. The position is supposed to contribute to the continuity and the development of the subject of Theoretical Philosophy, with the goal being the creation of a special focus in research and teaching. The position is expected to contribute to the development of local and international research cooperations, to take on teaching responsibilities and student supervision to a significant extent (teaching and theses), and to take on administrative duties within the Institute.

Candidates must have a Doctorate or PhD in Theoretical Philosophy as well as considerable experience in Post-Doc or equivalent positions. Candidates will be expected to have an outstanding research record in two of the following subjects: Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Language, and Philosophy of Mind. In addition, we expect gender mainstreaming competence.
