| Job description |
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is searching for non-tenure track visiting assistant professor for one year, beginning August 2017, who has demonstrated excellence in teaching three beginning courses in philosophy: introduction to philosophy, bioethics, and contemporary moral issues. The teaching load is eight courses a year over two semesters. Summer teaching is unlikely. We encourage applications from women and historically disadvantaged groups. An awarded PhD is required. |
