Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, Tuscaloosa, AL. The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall 2018. Teaching is at the undergraduate level, with usual non-teaching duties. The philosopher hired must play an instrumental role in the Department’s Jurisprudence Specialization. AOS/AOC: philosophy of law. Teaching competence in aesthetics, medical ethics or the history of philosophy is desirable. The philosopher hired will also be expected to teach courses in core areas of analytic philosophy.
