Job description |
Bentley University, Waltham, MA seeks an outstanding scholar in applied ethics, ethical theory, or social and political philosophy whose research includes a demonstrable focus on business. This is a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Start date: Fall 2018. Standard load for research-active faculty is four courses per year, undergraduate and (possibly) graduate, together with the usual non-teaching duties. Bentley University is a leader in the fusion of business and arts & sciences education, information technology, and business ethics; the department welcomes candidates whose research and teaching builds on these strengths. While the department strives to offer a wide range of philosophy courses, most Bentley students major in a business discipline; the ideal candidate will thrive in this environment.
