We are very pleased to announce a call for applications for the Centre for Animals and Social Justice's inaugural PhD studentship, in conjunction with the University of Leicester's Department of Politics and International Relations: http://www2.le.ac.uk/study/research/funding/animal-representation We aim to recruit a high-quality candidate dedicated to investigating the representation of non-human animals within the British political system. This fully-funded studentship represents the first, exciting step in the CASJ's mission to increase research capacity in the field of animal protection politics and embed animal protection as a core goal of public policy. The deadline for applications is 28 May 2012.
