The Department of Philosophy at the University of Missouri invites applications for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning fall semester 2018. Four courses per year (2 per semester), undergraduate and graduate, thesis and dissertation supervision, and normal non-teaching duties. Ph.D. required prior to appointment. AOS: Open. This is a broad search and all areas of philosophy are being considered. Although not limited to a specific area, one subject of interest is Ancient Philosophy. Successful candidates must also have a strong teaching record appropriate to rank.
