Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Ithaca College Department of Philosophy and Religion is seeking to hire an assistant professor of philosophy for a one year replacement position to start August 15, 2018. The teaching load for this position is four courses per semester.  Prior experience teaching introductory formal logic is essential. Preference given to candidates who can also teach in some of the following areas: epistemology, philosophy of language, decision theory, metaphysics. Applicants should highlight their relevant teaching experience in their cover letter (subjects taught; frequency taught; whether taught as teaching assistant or instructor of record; summary of evidence from teaching evaluations). ABD or Ph.D. in Philosophy required.
